Rose-Âme (20 cm x 17 cm)
"An artwork about fecundity inspired by the popular saying according to which girls are born in roses.
The rose symbolizes both love and woman and the white rose goes with motherhood. The petals are curled up and suggest an embryo, then a baby girl and a young lady and finally a pregnant woman.”
Calcium carbonate allows the craftsman to give back the fineness and texture of the delicately-veined petals of that mineral flower”.
